Chasing volume is one of the biggest mistakes estate agents make - listing absolutely everything and anything. When we started our agency in 2015 we did exactly the same but quickly realised that this type of strategy only compromises the quality of your service and you just become like every other estate agent in town (with the same image). We quickly became one of the Top 5 sellers in Tunbridge Wells (with a 2-person team), but our challenge was always to create an agency that we would want to use, if we were selling our own home and chasing volume was a big mistake. When the UK went into lockdown for the first time, we saw this as an opportunity to just focus on quality. We introduced a minimum fee structure and now only help those sellers who are pragmatic about price, want effective marketing, exceptional photography and expect the highest levels of customer service. Again, we've received a Gold Award in the Best Estate Agent Guide 2023 (Top 3% performing UK agent - based on performance data) and we continue to have the highest number of 5-STAR Google Reviews of all the Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells estate agents. The change in strategy has worked and you will never see us with huge levels of stock, as we'd rather focus on having a more manageable stock level and continue to outperform other agents in key performance areas, which consistently delivers great results for our clients. 🏡
